Ecopac, the packaging design and logistics business has increased its delivery capacity by adding two new Scania 18 tonne lorries to its fleet, and to ensure it stands out from the crowd the vehicles have been decked out with a stunning livery carrying the company’s ‘packaging shouldn’t cost the earth’ statement.
The new lorries, the first 18 tonne capacity vehicles in the Ecopac fleet will be used to deliver packaging nationwide to Ecopac’s ever growing customer base. Driver Michael Winterbourne has been assigned to one of the new trucks and is delighted with it. “ I’ve noticed that the lorry is certainly a head turner as I drive it around the country. It’s great to see the company continuing to grow and invest during these difficult economic times”.
Response to the new livery has been so positive that the rest of the Ecopac fleet is now being updated to match the new lorry. Commercial Manager John Bennett outlined the reason behind the investment, “at Ecopac we’re really serious about our commitment to reduce both the environmental and cost impact of packaging.
