Ecopac install bubble converting machines.

Packaging solutions business Ecopac has extended its product range by investing in two mini roll bubble wrap machines.

The machines, which have been installed at the companies new contract packing plant in Westcott, Buckinghamshire convert 600m maxi rolls into specific mini roll lengths – from 5 to 50m.  The mini rolls are then over-bagged and labelled on line before being heat sealed.

Marketing Executive Nathalie Fornalcyzk enthused about the new capacity saying, “we believe that the market for mini rolls is strong and rapidly growing.  Bringing this capacity in house enables us to establish a strong presence in this sector.  We already have a strong order book for these products, across a range of sizes and we are now seeking new opportunities to build this range further.”

The machines convert both standard and bio-degradable bubble wrap and also roll foam products.
